More than 500 years old, the Tokaj appellation stretches over 87 km long and 4 km wide between Hungary and Slovakia. Originally, it was a very prestigious vineyard even mentioned in the Hungarian national anthem but lost its quality during the communist period when it was collectivized by the authorities.

Owner of 26 hectares cultivated entirely by hand in the village of Mad, Hungary, Pascal Demko, a former lawyer, first visited the region at the request of his mother with a mission to find a few hectares of vineyards to offer to his father for his birthday. Falling in love with the region, he never left. In 2004, he founded Holdvölgy (Valley of the Moon) with the ambition of producing the best Tokaj, restoring its nobility to this iconic appellation, or as he says, to “resurrect The Tokaj Dream”. For this, he gives time its time, and the first wines were only released in 2011.

500 years after the birth of the legendary wine, Holdvölgy resurrects it and advances the dream of Tokaj. The Wine of Thoughts was born from the competition between knowledge, principles, imagination, and patience. The harmony of mind and soul has matured it to perfection, just like eternal values.

Handcrafted cuvées, ultra-craftsmanship from the best 26 hectares in the entire Tokaj region in Mád, available for sale in limited quantities.
