In 1924, winegrowers from Venelles established the Coopérative Vinicole de Venelles to organize themselves and pool resources to cope with the economic conditions and vineyards devastated by phylloxera. In 1985, the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence was born, and in the same year, a new leadership team succeeded the founding families (SIGNORET, MOULIN, BEAUVOIS, AURIOL…) and officially created the vineyard known today as the Quatre Tours estate. In 2000, the arrival of new President Thierry Blanchard brought fresh energy to the project. Uniting, structuring, and developing were at the heart of the new challenge. Five years later, Provence experienced international growth. The popularity of Provence rosés took off! It was during this time that Quatre Tours began to export to over 10 countries worldwide. Today, the vineyard spans five villages (Venelles, Coutheron, Le Puy Sainte Réparade, Eguilles, and Lambesc) in the heart of the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, a true mosaic of terroirs. Quatre Tours affirms its evolution by creating a selection of registered lieux-dits: “Bec” and “La Colline.”

Vilandria is the flagship cuvée of Quatre Tours, a true signature of its authentic vineyard. It embodies the full richness and complexity of its terroirs. These are true gastronomic wines, showcasing both personality and complexity.
