Cave Salatin is a family-owned business, now in its third generation, located in the eastern part of the Veneto region, at the border between the DOCG Prosecco Valdobbiadene and DOC Prosecco Frizzante areas. A stone dated 1528 attests to the presence of the Salatin family here. Brothers Sir Antonio and Ercole Salatin began their winemaking activities in 1947, in areas highly favored by the Doges of the Republic of Venice. Driven by their love of viticulture, their children and grandchildren now manage the estate. The estate covers 60 hectares, with vineyards located in the Prosecco hills, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as in the Friuli Graves region and the DOC Venezia area.
