Shukhrat Khakimov & Viticultores

Shukhrat Khakimov & Viticultores is an association of winemakers, oenologists, wine enthusiasts, and all things related to it. The main winemaker (also CEO and founder) is Shukhrat Khakimov, originally from Kazakhstan, who moved to Europe as a student. He graduated from the Ecole supérieure d’Agriculture d’Angers (ESA Group) in France, the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) in Spain, and the Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore (UCSCP) in Italy. All studies focused on viticulture, oenology, wine, vine, and terroir management. After graduating, he decided to stay in Spain and start his own story with the support of his friends and family.

The aim of the estate is to produce unconventional wines from unique vineyards of indigenous varieties in different regions of Spain (mainly Levante). The vines are cared for biodynamically, all processes are carried out manually, and all wines are naturally vinified. The result is wines that, created by nature, reflect a new generation, free from prejudices, full of energy, and connected to the natural world, without losing contact with the traditions of their ancestors.
